A Video Vox-Pop for Graduation at LJMU

Higher Education Institutes are flooding their online sites with graduation videos, capturing the graduates of 2012 on camera for years to come. But instead of filming the whole ceremony as most Universities tend to do, Liverpool John Moores University have produced a series of ‘graduate voxpops’…

Focusing on a couple of graduates each day, LJMU produced quick voxpops focusing on their students rather than the ceremony during graduation events. The students, excited and animated about graduating explain why they enjoyed their time at University adding whether they’d recommend Liverpool John Moores to others.

These videos aim to capture the momentous occasion of graduation in a shorter and more engaging way than simply recording hour long ceremonies and speeches. Yet they also serve as promotional productions; showing prospective students what can await them if they choose to study at LJMU…
